Okay I did it!
I got a ticket for Bellowhead. Which means missing the gospel choir rehearsal, which happens to be a Give It A Go session so they'll probably want loads of people there to help the prospective newbies, but... o well. Auditions for solos are at 6:30, so I can be down there to do that and then go to the gig. I feel like a solo this ( Read more... )

You know when you try and make up for lack of sleep by having 12 and a half hours continuously? Never try and do that two days before you have an essay due, especially after getting in at 4 in the morning.

I haven't been to a wedding since I was about nine years old, and now I can truthfully say that I've sung at one.

Dan and Abi were in the gospel choir before I joined it, they met there, fell in love and they got married today, and invited the choir to sing during the service. We were singing from the sort of alcovey bit above tho, so the soloists ( Read more... )
